FMB Consultants Ltd has been in operation since February 1982, when it launched a weekly airmailed report, Fertilizer Market Bulletin , providing up-to-date information on prices and activities in the international trade in fertilizers and the raw materials used to produce fertilizers. At that time, those subscribers wanting to be one step ahead of the competition would take the report by Telex. This also supplied supplementary reports during the week whenever important news arose. Today, this premium service is available by Telefax or E-mail.

In 1984 a subsidiary company FMB Publications Ltd was formed in order to launch a new monthly magazine called Fertilizer Focus. In a exciting new format and produced on high quality paper, Fertilizer Focus covered a wider range of topics relating to the industry. These include in-depth articles on the market trends in a particular country, profiles of companies in the industry, new technologies, etc. There are sections on People & Events, Shipping & Transportation, Industry News, Export/ Import statistics in every issue as well as Directories updated annually of companies involved in Trading, Shipping, Bagging equipment, etc. Fertilizer Focus provides the perfect platform to promote your company to the industry through advertising and editorial.

In 1990, the FMB 3-6-9 Report was launched, providing Price Forecasts for the next three, six and nine months ahead. Drawing on our extensive contacts with buyers and sellers in the world, together with in-depth market analysis and charting techniques, it quickly became popular with those in the industry needing an independent view on prices in the short-to-medium term.

In 1987, the first FMB Fertilizer Conference was held at the London Hilton in England, attracting delegates from all over the world. This event has now become firmly established in the industry's calendar and features numerous exhibition stands as well as papers presented by leading figures in the industry.

In 1991, a fortnightly report called Fertilizer Europe was launched, providing up-to-date information on prices and activities in these sophisticated markets.

In 1994, a new magazine, Spotlight Eastern Europe , was launched. Distributed to countries in the Former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, this magazine provides articles and information in English and in Russian side-by-side. Again this is an excellent forum in which to promote your services in these expanding markets.

In 1996, the Weekly Fertilizer Reports are also offered to Eastern block companies in the Russian language. Translated into Russian by experienced journalists in Moscow, they provide an easier path for executives in these companies to understand events.

THE PERSONNEL AT FMB:
